this week has gotten off to a weird start. yesterday, one of my good friends here found out that a friend of hers had died sunday night. it was incredibly saddening - and i had no clue what to do. i've never lost a friend before, so i can't really sympathize. but as i am an empathetic person, i think i did my best to be there for her. the

it sucks that death is so taboo in america... it leaves us with far too many questions when the time comes to 'deal' with it. but hang in there! love, rose
