Grandpa Goode’s Kahlua
3 cups sugar
4 cups water
2 oz soluble coffee
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 vanilla bean
1 tbsp chocolate syrup
1/5 gallon vodka
Boil sugar and water until dissolved. Add soluble coffee (I used a mix of Taster's Choice and Via), stir until dissolved, cool.

Parisian Macarons
After trying several other recipes, and several failures, a friend of mine showed me this one. It worked! HUZZAH!
I made ONE batch. Then I piped out half of the batter onto a silicone mat & perforated baking sheet. The other half I piped out onto a regular baking sheet, with parchment paper. I let them sit for the same hour. I placed them in ( Read more... ) -

I found this old radio console on the side of the road for free. It works and everything, it's just the lady who owned it is wheelchair bound, and had no room for it in her house anymore.
