Is Livejournal Dead?

So I rarely post on here anymore, and after cleaning out a couple of RSS feeds and moving them to my regular RSS reader it looks like only one or two of my friend list post on here anymore either, who's an active lurker that sees this post? and who's just a zombie account?

I'm thinking the time may have come to wind down my LJ account.

I have no intention of leaving. Facebook doesn't really lend itself to longer posts and I choose to have FB private. This is still my public (and personal) blog.

Some folks jumped to dreamwidth.org after the last discontent about it being possible to cross-post comments to FB, even on friends' only posts, but they announced they would fix that. I don't think they thought through the implications of it.

What I wish is that they would have a widget to make it as easy to post a link here as it is to FB. Or make it easy to cross post from FB to LJ. :)

I'm sure someday FB will be abandoned for the next big thing.
