looking back on things, there is a fraction of me who is genuinely surprised that i am still alive today. i have the afternoon off so, you know, instead of being productive and working on design templates, i spent a few hours digging through my old LJ entries from highschool/university

you got that right! i read my old shit and it disgusts me.

and didi, i can relate to a lot of what you're saying. i often wonder the same thing about myself.. with the amount of drugs i used to do.. (sometimes still do).. and ponder how the fuck i am alive and made it this far. some people happen to die from a bad pill. blows my mind how i've managed to steer clear.

but i'm happy you're still around and that you're doing at least a little better. i think it has something to do with getting older. when you're 12-19 you think the worst. depression is always gonna come and go, i've come to terms with that fact, and i think we all have our ways of coping. i don't think i'll ever give up wine for that reason, haha.

i love reading your stuff. AND i'm also extremely excited and was genuinely happy to see that you've gotten a website again and are concentrating on art. seeing you following your passion just makes me want to pursue my own again. it's inspiring. you got a lot to offer this world, so do us a favour and stick around :)
