Two of my fave bands, "The Kings of Leon" and "The Raconteurs" live here in Nashville...but where have The Kings of Leon been lately? Aren't they about due for another album??? Hmph.

Mike and I made the mistake of eating at a new Mediterranean cuisine place called "Tarboosh." Now it's become an inside joke between us - "Tahrrrrr-BOOOOOOSH!" with the rolled 'r's. Had a farewell dinner tonight for two friends from work - it was at "Ted's Montana Grille" down on West End. There were four of us - Libby and me, Thao and Kim - and the two of them (the leaving ones - Roger and Susan). They are going to Florida. This was a warm and sentimental time. I'll miss them both. Woke up with my left eye stinging. Whether something got in it during the night or it's an infection of some sort, I know not. But it hurts, it's pinkish and inflamed, and pretty useless. Got a semi-decent night of sleep but I'm still not quite there, yet. Woke up with a headache, which is very rare for me. Have also had lots of problems with technology since I've been back - computer troubles mostly, but they're all ironed out now. Tired. Woof. Late flight last night. Got in at 12:30 a.m. Then got up at 5 for work. The connecting flight in Philly was cancelled due to airplane maintenance and/or mechanical failure.
