It was a fairly nice day in The World That Never Was (granted, a nice day and a bad day weren’t all that different), but when Larxene walked past Demyx with a broad grin on her face, he raced back to his wing of the castle to protect his valuables.
So it was no surprise when she continued to pace the castle, electrocuting all she wished, when Xigbar finally asked why in nothing’s name was she so happy?
The Savage Nymph gave no reply, and simply left Xigbar to his meal. A few minutes later, however, she electrocuted him.
“Seriously Larxene, you have to stop scaring the new kid,” Axel commented as he walked past the only female in the Organization with a smirk.
She scowled at him, kunais clutched between her fingers. “If you mean Demyx, stop referring to him as such. He’s not new, just annoying.” Suddenly, her eyes lit up and Axel had to take a step back. “However, I’m no longer the last member. I can finally boss someone around!”
Axel snorted and shook his head. “Larxene… you already boss Demyx around. What more can you do?” She smirked and left Axel to think. Or would’ve, if he actually cared.

A few days later, Xemnas had Xigbar introduce the new kid, even though the kid looked like he would rather kill something than be there. Larxene had smiled in glee; Demyx had glanced at him, hoping that he would be able to befriend the newest member; and Axel gave a slight yawn.
“This is Roxas. Make sure to make him feel…welcome.” Xigbar smirked at his last statement before creating a portal and disappearing. Demyx and Larxene had crowded around him - one to smile and actually welcome him, the other planning her torment already.
Although it wasn’t spoken, Axel knew something was special about this kid. Something important enough that the Superior was making sure the brat was giving special treatment. So when said person walked up to him and gave him a look that read, ‘And you are?’, he simply rolled his eyes and created a portal.
“Don’t you want to meet the newest member, Axel?” Demyx questioned, before stepping away from the other blond. Axel snorted and walked into the portal.
“No.”
