Axel stood, his chest heaving and taking in breaths he normally wouldn’t have needed to expel. His chakrams were covered in such an unusual poison -blood -from the attackers that lay motionless -hopefully dead, he thought -near him. Only about a half yard away, the boy who looked so much like Roxas shivered in a fetal position, seemingly more afraid of the man covered in blood who had saved him that the now more-than-likely dead attackers.
Shaking his head and sending his chakrams back into the darkness, Axel didn’t know what to think. This was a strange world -it certainly wasn’t The World That Never Was or any other world he had been to. It whispered evil that was even worse than Xemnas at his worse, and yet, had a purity that even the Keybearer more than likely couldn’t match. But now, all he could see was the wickedness of the world due to the poor boy shivering near him.
He had been strolling through this world, receiving more than a fair amount of strange stares, when a boy’s cry alerted him. Curiosity getting the better of him, he ducked into an alleyway only to see a group of men ganging up on a small, blond boy. When he squinted, he noticed the kid had an extremely close resemblance to Roxas. After that, he snapped, and instantly attacked the men attacking him, only to realize that unlike himself, anything else, or anyone else he had fought, they bled -violently - when his chakrams sliced through them.
Axel had never felt it, but he felt he played the part of the murderer, or the traitor, with this blood coating his face.
Licking his lips, he turned to face Roxas, only to find with even more disappointment, that the boy was obviously not his Roxas -he had the hair, but his eyes were a faint hazel color instead of their normal blue.
He opened his mouth -even if only to ask where he was -when the kid jumped up and fled, more than likely going home to tell his momma that he was attacked by some crazy psycho and not that he had been saved by said psycho. Axel gave what would normally be a smirk before quickly opening a portal and disappearing into it before he could cause anymore trouble on this world.
Axel would find Roxas, no matter how deep into the abyss he would have to search.
