“My patience grows thin. Pick a card, before I am forced to pick one for you.”
Axel glanced up to the tenth member of Organization XIII, and gave the blond man a grin. “Relax, Luxord - I’m thinking.”
Luxord rolled his eyes before glancing up to the large clock on the wall. It had been five minutes since he last asked. “All I asked for was a card, Eight. I didn’t believe it required much though.”
Leaving back in the seat he was sitting in with a grin, Axel suddenly spoke. “Well, that depends. What does this card signify? If I pick the wrong one, will you strike against me? Or, could certain things change, due to what I pick…?”
The blond rolled his eyes once again. “I had no such thoughts in my mind, Eight,” Luxord sighed, closing his eyes to hide his obvious lie. He wasn’t hoping to strike against Axel, knowing that the redhead had the keybearer as his friend, but was merely curious as to how he thought. Where he decided to pick, and which card he picked… well. It would certainly give him akin of an idea.
“Axel?” Luxord glanced up as Roxas approached, the blonde’s eyes wary. Axel made no movement, save for closing his eyes and allowing a smirk to cross his face. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” Axel replied, opening his eyes slowly, and smiling up to Luxord. “Just playing a game with Luxord here.”
Without another word, Axel stood from the chair he was sitting in, and walked up to Roxas. He then paused, before smirking slightly behind him, and walked away.
A quick glance down to the table showed Luxord that his cards were up in ablaze. He shook his head - he had plenty of other decks - but it was a clear sign that Axel had loyalties with Roxas, and no one else.
