Naminé sits in her white room, kneeling on the white chair onto the white table, coloring onto her blank piece of paper.
The only thing that isn’t white in the room is her artwork; messy scribbles litter the floor, the walls, everywhere.
Sora’s sleeping and she’s still drawing, sketching his memories before grabbing a corresponding color to fill them in. She smiles - she likes this simple existence. It’s easier than what Marluxia wanted her to draw.
She’s also coloring Roxas’s memories. Her sketch book fills up quickly with his adventures, between him joining the Organization and him meeting with Axel. She tilts her head, finding the perfect shade of blond for his hair before drawing another picture of him.
Naminé frowns and leans onto her elbows, giving herself room to inspect her artwork. It’s a picture of Axel and Roxas sitting on the Twilight Town clock tower, smiling and eating that blue sea-salt ice cream (coloring that in was difficult; poor Naminé had to go through three boxes of colored pencils before she could find the right shade). She frowns before shoving the picture off of the table and standing up, purposely (or accidentally?) stepping on the picture as she makes her way to one of the white-washed walls.
There’s a picture of Sora holding Kairi in the old Hollow Bastion as Riku looms from above, a smirk resting on his face. Naminé does not see him, for she is content on only seeing Sora and Kairi together. She smiles. When Roxas and her join back with Sora and Kairi, they’ll be together forever, just like they should be.
But…
She frowns before looking at a picture adjacent to this one. It’s another of Axel and Roxas, the former smiling widely with his arm around Roxas’s shoulder and the latter frowning as he attempts to shove Axel off. She smiles at this before she notices his eyes. Why would she color them like that? They’re lit up, almost like Roxas enjoys having Axel so close to him.
She scowls slightly before taking the picture off of the wall and letting it drop onto the floor. Axel has no place with Roxas, she decides, stepping on that picture as well. If Sora is with Kairi, then Roxas must be with Naminé! Such a simple equation; only an idiot could mess it up.
Glancing onto another wall, she hurries over, wondering why there are so many pictures of Roxas with Axel. This time, it’s Roxas leaving the Organization with Axel standing sadly behind him. Something in Naminé fires up as she takes the picture and rips Axel out of it. They’re Nobodies! They cannot feel anything!
As she lets the part of Axel drop to the floor, she smiles, and heads back to the table. She knows that Sora and Kairi would equal Roxas and her. It would be just like Axel, and his sneaking, cruel ways, messing up her perfect plans.
