I uh. I don't even know. This fic.. mm there are no words. The summary made me think it would go in a completely different direction, and then the way the plot went... THE TRUTH WAS SO MUCH BETTER. Replacing being a Nobody with being an orphan was a really good idea, and the Axel/Roxas part being so dark, really nicely executed! I like how Riku relaxed into it, so the fic straddled slice of life with dark. Or something.

I don't know what to say, your writing has left me speechless ♥

Hee. Wow, thanks so much! (and it just shows that I suck horribly at summaries. ;~;) But...but that's really kind of you. Since this is my first fic with any kind of smut, I was afraid people wouldn't like it/think I was bad, but since it wasn't the FOCUS, I'm glad you liked it.

Nah, you don't suck - my brain just went to the commonplace conclusion (sexy times was acoming) so really, the change was welcome because it was so unexpected and awesome! :D

wow, this is really great.
i ended up feeling bad for Roxas more than anybody. He was so mean, but it was justified, somehow.

The part about how Sora and Roxas were just the same.... that was what really got it for me. Well done. It had a lot in it for a oneshot, too.

Thanks! I was afraid that I wouldn't do it well, but if you liked it, then I'm glad.

It does...but I kinda fail hardcore at more than oneshots, so I like stuffing a lot into them.

Your try at the psychological-thriller genre? If it was, you succeeded. :D That was intense, but not to the point of you trying too hard. It was oddly quiet, but not to the extent of it being boring. It was a really good mix of intensity and quiet mystery.

Out of the characters, I actually pity Roxas the most, somehow...

There's something I don't understand though. Why did Roxas keep repeating the idea that he and Axel can't feel? It's not meant to be taken literally, is it?

...because I fail. I was going to have them end up as ACTUALLY Nobodies, but it didn't flow, and since it was Riku's perspective, and neither Axel nor Roxas told him much, he couldn't easily find out that they'd just shut down emotionally. Or something. But mostly because I fail so hardcore, SF. DDD:

Oh... I did think of all that, but certainly not in that depth... (does that make me a sad, sad person? D:)

But, while the Roxas part has a good point, I pitied Axel because he went along with whatever Roxas said. Roxas (at least, this fic!Roxas could tell Axel to cut off his own arm, and Axel would do it without a thought. And, even though it's technically "Axel/Roxas", I don't think (as you said), they were anything but, uh...Friends with benifits (I don't like the term for them, but it's right). Axel would do anything for Roxas, and Roxas, to some degree, trusts Axel with his affairs. Granted, like in the fic, Axel can and will talk back to Roxas, but usually Roxas is in charge, and Axel carries out the dirty work.

...Did I make any sense? Like, I agree, but that (above) was what I thought about. But darn, I didn't think so much could come from one little one shot. :O
