[Olivia took in the building as they pulled up. Nothing extraordinary about it. Just a run-of-the-mill apartment building in a questionable part of town. Exactly the type of place she would expect Peter to end up. Her stomach clenched a bit. She was admittedly feeling a little anxious about this. She knew Peter probably didn't want to see her, didn't want to hear her explanations or apologies, but she had to try. However, as a precaution, she hadn't told Walter anything about this trip. Just in case Arthur's intel wasn't correct. Not that she doubted his ability, she just couldn't get Walter's hopes up in vain.

When Arthur exited the car she followed his lead, her hair immediately whipping about in the wind. She tied it up in the elastic that was always around her wrist, at the ready.

She could tell he was sizing up the place.]

You don't have to come in.

[In fact, she had tried to tell him he didn't have to come at all. Peter wasn't his problem, and she could certainly follow up a lead on her own. He'd done enough just by ( ... )

[Eames might joke about Arthur's lack of creativity, but a love of procedurals didn't destroy the ability to get a gut feeling. It was something that Arthur had learned to trust over the years, even if what he felt happened to be in opposition to the SOP's of any given situation.

And so, he was here. He pushed his hands into his pockets and shook his head.] And freeze out here? [Arthur took the lead to the doors. Once a Point man, always a Point man.]

[Olivia huffed out a laugh and put her own hands in her pockets as she followed him up to the front. He actually reminded her of Peter in that instant, always insisting to follow her into possibly dangerous situations even though she was the former Marine, FBI agent with the gun. She wasn't sure if that was chivalry or stupidity. At least Arthur had been CIA. She wouldn't worry about him if things went wrong. Not that she was expecting it to. Even if Peter was angry she was there, he wouldn't ever be violent toward her. She glanced over to Arthur. Something about his demeanor though, was putting her on edge.]

So am I allowed to ask where you got this tip from?

Nope. [He held the lobby door for her.] You're still a Fed. [Arthur gave her a glimmer of a fleeting smile and followed her inside, shifting his jacket once to let the chill outside air go.] Fifth floor, apartment C.
