Okay ... I have to say that I personally think it IS scary being 18. MANY people, in my case, look at you with a different eye. You are old enough to smoke and play lottery... or w/e. You can actually purchase things from the TV when they say you can call only if 18 or older. There is SO much one can do when he/she turns 18. The parents look at you differently.. and say "You are 18. Welcome to adult world. Make your own decisions now." You are not underage for "any" guy.... The world seems to sometimes be in your hands, and you have the responsibility of making a wise decision.... choices come your way. College thoughts start occuring. What am I going to do now? Where do I go? What should I do for a living? School is over... my security blanket is gone. I am left unaware and frustrated. Yes, I know the feeling. Applications for college come... and you stare at all these questions... and end up spending money for those stupid applications. Credit cards start MAJORLY coming your way... so they can take advantage of "a poor college ( ... )

18 was scary as crap but it also ended up being one of the best years of my life. Just spend time with your friends and throw yourself in to things. It can seem overwhelming but you have so much more freedom. you get the chance to start creating yourself now. It's not about your parents anymore it;s like a new start. a kind of reinvention. Now you get to do things because you want to not because you have to. Have fun but stay grounded.

18 sucked. lol sorry i couldnt resist but yet im being honest. it aint all the hype you think it is really. 21 for me was the hype and yet it was watered down bout half the year through. now im stareing old age in the face in a month...24 is so old. lol. more or less what iam saying is it may seem scary but its not,its nothing more than hype.
