Really? Frickin' awesome.......the other day, oddly enough, I found this promo single I have for All I Wanna Do Is Rock that I got out of a free box years ago when I did odd jobs for Selector Discs and Tapes

I still haven't gotten an email back, BUT a friend of mine online is pretty in the know with the whole Dischord scene and said that they're working on an album due out later this year and they had just taken a year off because Brendan just had a kid.

I don't know anything about their singer dying, but I know that the guy who did alot of sound manipulation for them playing loops and shit like that died right before they recorded the album.

was the line something like:

Got sent off to a war,
was laughed at by a whore

If so, that's called The Man Who Couldn't Cry which was originally written by Loudon Wainright III, who is Rufus Wainright's dad(Rufus is fucking awesome). I'm sure it's not the only song of his where he mentions a whore, though. Ironically, my teacher for Sociology played a Johnny Cash song today to illustrate his attitude on life...in that instant I knew I liked him...well that and his stance on the government and what an imbecile George Dubya is.
