Eh, I don't much like buying anything off the internet anymore......it just takes away from the experience of actually going out and finding shit. Besides, Amazon actually is more likely to rip a person off than any place you can actually physically go. I've had too many bad experiences with amazon to try doing that again.....and I dunno, I just like actually going out and buying something. There's just something more rewarding about the experience. Who knows, maybe manifest has some of these movies for sale.....I must go back there soon before they shut their doors for good.

Yes, I noticed your new entry and became amazed and confused at the same time. Then I remembered how much easyjournal sucks. I love getting packages too, but it just doesn't even come close to the record/book/video store experience. When I find something rare in a store I feel like I accomplished something, when I have it mailed to my door I just feel empty and lazy. Like I said before, amazon and companies like it are just out to rip people off left and right. The most I use them for now is just to listen to sound clips of an album I'm looking into getting.

You can download Eraserhead from online if you have WinMx. Same with Mulholland Drive. It's one of his best movies, best even. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Most people get confused because the first 2/3 of the movie is the fantasy of a guilt-ridden mind, Diane, the main character, and the film makes an abrupt and hallucinogenic jump to the murderous surface of reality. When you know these things it's easier to enjoy. I didn't understand it first time i saw it, either, and it's only after the second viewing everything made sense. I'm glad you're turned on to David Lynch. He's truly one of the greatest moviemakers of all time.

Oh yes, totally. I was actually introduced to his stuff when I was quite young because my mom watched a good bit of the Twin Peaks series. I remember seeing it and being like "what the fuck is this?" When I got older, Lost Highway came out and alot of people around me were raving about it and I checked into it and found out he was the same guy behind TP. Intrigued, I gave it a whirl and went from there. Blue Velvet is undeniably my favorite. Eraserhead has been explained to me as being the most creepy and disturbing film ever made so I must see it. I don't have DSL so I don't think I'll be downloading these movies anytime soon though.
