a. [Having received a phone call regarding his new profession, France is at your local grocery store, theoretically working. Really, he's just inspecting the produce. Contemplating bananas, examining watermelons, fondling cantaloupes, winking and smiling at any attractive person that happens to catch his eye ( Read more... )

creeping and peeping, in the name of love, this is katie's fault, this is not my fault, this is yana's fault, this is ao's fault, working...

[Oh my god it's a SPY. Sealand immediately runs upstairs to open a window up there and dump hot water on the spy's head.

He didn't have time for boiling oil.]

[Splutters and falls back in surprise.]

What the hell was that for?!

You're spying on Sealand's territory!

[Maybe he should mention to Bri-tan he annexed the house.

Naah.]

I wasn't spying, you imbecile!

[... Yes, you were, France.]

[Well, there's a very androgynous, but still pretty, person who's just sitting in the living room marking assignments...who suddenly has the feeling one gets when they're being watched.

Lion turns towards the window. This is the second time he's had someone watching him...]

[Gender is less important than prettiness. France was watching, admiring said prettiness, until Lion looked in his direction, at which point he quickly ducked down out of view.]

[Lion goes over to the window to open it, looking around. There's nobody there...but then Lion looks down below the windowsill.

What is it with people looking in Lion's window.]

Excuse me...do you need something, sir?

[Quickly jumps up and smiles charmingly at Lion.] Excusez-moi... Mademoiselle? Monsieur? Ah, I was merely lost for a moment when I became enraptured by your beauty, please forgive my intrusion.

[ yeah we can pretend it was open ]

W-what is this? How have you suddenly aged to your current self?! Surely I was not gone for more than a week? Do Europeans truly grow up this quickly?

[ Shopping in the grocery lalala. ]

[ She picks up an apple. ] They're apples, but they're red... [ puts a few in her basket, then moves on. ] Hmm, maybe Laharl likes pears! [ takes some tomatoes lmao ]

[ looking for something else, though... ah, that man works here... right? ]

Ah, um, mister, where can I find the strawberries?

[Oh, cute girl... France smiles at her brightly.]

Of course, mademoiselle, they are right this way... Fresh this morning, according to someone else, though I have no idea where from.

... Also, if you would like help looking for pears, I would be happy to help with that too.

Mr. France? Ah! So you work here...

Mm. [ She shakes her head and picks up a tomato from her basket. ] I've already found them, but thank you. [ She smiles in return. ]

Oui, you're the charming mademoiselle from the phone, non?

... That is a tomato, ma chère. [Picks up a pear and holds it out to her.] They are very delicious and useful when cooking many dishes, but they are not quite the same as a pear.

[Welcome to 339 Brady Lane, PARTY CENTRAL! Quinn's not in the house, but he's in the garage, doors wide open, music blaring from a laptop. He's happily tapping his feet to the beat while sorting through a pile of scrap metal that looks mostly like car bumpers. He's pretty oblivious to the outside world at the moment.]

You're so lucky... Now I can't stop listening, damn you! theseineone March 4 2011, 05:59:20 UTC
[France raises an eyebrow at the music- he doesn't recognise it but the words are amusing enough. Not bad background music for checking out cute, oblivious blonds. So he leans against the garage door, checking Quinn out.]

Franz Ferdiand is awesome for that =D techno_mancer March 4 2011, 12:51:30 UTC
[When Quinn finally sees France standing there, he's startled but tries to cover it up. Uh oh, this better not be someone who noticed their car bumper was gone. He turns the music down a bit so he doesn't have to scream over it to talk to him.]

Hey there! What's up?
