A great poem

I didn't write this, but I thought it was a beautiful poem. These are lines from it.

"The air between us seemed almost as cold as the floor,
but that heavy midnight morning air
was enough to burn my eyes till they were closed...
i swear it screamed for just one touch,
i thank heaven now it was never so much...
because regret unseen breeds noble lies."
