i finally got around to factoring in my mortgage interest and property taxes into my tax return, and went from owing a grand to getting a few bucks back. i had put away an extra grand in my "play money" account that i was going to use for taxes if need be, but now it's all "play money". hell, that money was already gone anyway in my mind. so, i' ( Read more... )

contestant number one is cuter. The Univalve sounds too close to uni-boob, uni-nut, unicorn... not very manly man stuff. Get the more complicated item for challange!

which one do you consider more complicated? the uni (it does have a rather effeminate name)is more tweakable and flexible, with all kinds of bells and whistles. but the z has two knobs, which can be challenging in itself. i think the z is more of a "you get out what you put in" kind of amp. from everything i've read, it's very touch responsive. meaning that if you play harder, the sound gets more aggressive and vise-versa. i've been mulling this over for a day or two so far, and i'm still undecided.

indeed. You get out of it what you put in to it. I say a bigger challenge for you would be two knobs instead of tons.
