If some one is a pice of shit waste of life, I try not treat them like one, but instead, just be indifferent. Hate is not the opposite of love, indifference is. Life is the heaviest thing to judge and I doubt humans will ever judge which life is best, and who deserves better treatment than others. Rapists and killers are obviously a threat to society, so to ensure the safety of the society, just distance the threat, but that does not mean treat them terribly
