vivienne westwood (fashion designer/malcolm mclaren/punk rock/Sex) went to tour buckingham palace/possibly also meet the queen, and she wore a skirt with no underwear and it blew up, revealingly, and her excuse was that she had "just forgotten to put any underwear on." except the british call underwear PANTS and so when this story was explained to me i missed the skirt bit and i had to go through the whole "what do you mean she tried to say she just forgot to wear pants?, bit.
