Hi ^^; I'm a friend of rabidsnowbunny who was a mod @ musicon100, and I couldn't help but to see this. I know how important this community was to her because we happened to have a discussion about it just a few days prior to her passing away. I've tried to contact ames_909 but to no avail, but I'd be glad if someone could take over musicon100 somehow. :\

First off, I'm so sorry about Carrie. I was only just getting to know her. T_T

But I do know how much she loved that community. I've sent ames_909 emails asking if I can take over the community...she won't respond to me either. Right now, she's the only one who can do anything with the community. I only have posting access, so can't take over myself.

I remember Carrie telling me that ames_909 wouldn't even talk to her either...so I have no ideas of what to do.

♥ I feel extremely powerless as I watch this community, into which she put so many efforts, wither because no one is able to keep maintaining it. I don't know why ames_909 isn't returning any of our messages concerning this matter, but since she's responded to other comments on her LJ, it seems to me as though we've been being deliberately ignored for one reason or another...

Nevertheless, just a few days ago, Carrie's husband made a post from her journal. Normally I'd feel bad for asking about such a seemingly trivial thing, but since it is something that was important for Carrie, I think he might accept to give you mod power through her account (if you're still ok with taking over). ...I'm not going to put any pressure on him though. But, we'll see...?

I know. It breaks my heart to see the pages and pages of things in that community unfinished. And it annoys me and makes me sad all at the same time that we're not getting any help from ames_909.

I agree. It wasn't trivial to her, so I think he would understand.

I'm totally ok with taking it over. I just hope I can do as great of a job as she did.
