2009 has been a pretty interesting year, and I mean that in the Chinese Fortune cookie definition of "interesting". We have each had an auto accident. One of us has a new(er) car. I had my older car towed away, and they want me to pay for the privilege. I told them to keep the car. I have a house. It however, the basement is definitely wet, ( Read more... )

I can see the frustration. We all expected 2009 to be a great year of change, hope, new prosperity, a whole new direction, and so on. Obviously NOT. Sometimes its all you can do to say you simply SURVIVED.

By some early indications, 2010 looks to be off to a much better start. Some of us have great new jobs, I'm starting classes again, and there is an overall sense of "thank got we got through the first decade alive."
