I also absolutely loved that you pointed out the SMELL cause it really was like hell back there, in 19th century (watched Parfume, know what i'm talking about XD) and for a normal person of our time it would be a hell of a task to adjust to that air - people back than used to throw away all the garbage right on the streets and showers were definitely not so popular as they are now. You captured that PERFECTLY!
