Pip had been wandering around the halls when he met the newcomer - the aftermath of the incident with the cave-ins had been quite a mess everywhere, but most of it had been settled down by now. The other officers (plus the new one which the man made a note to meet one of these days) were all busy with their own work; Pip had already pretty much done his, so he took the free time to go down the corridors since he pretty much had nothing better to do

Adachi was startled, his shoulders jumping up. He hadn't really noticed anyone else in hall, having his attention else where. Now finally seeing the other man he gave him a nervous smile.

"H-Hi there."

durrrr typo. I meant muse.

The brunette had couldn't help but chuckle a little at the somewhat jumpy response he got from the other man and broke into one of his usual grins. "No need t'be so jumpy now, eh? S'not like zis ship's haunted or anything," he joked.

Adachi's nervous demeanor did not leave although his shoulders did lower back down. He scratched the back of his neck, weak smile turning into a frown at the haunted comment. "W-Well, I would sure hope not," he replied.

Dammit! Where did that capacitor go? If Atsuro wanted to try another mod on his radio, he was going to need one. He was sure it had been around in his bag somewhere, but it had apparently gone missing. Ahh, it'd probably turn up somewhere. Maybe he'd head to town to see if he could get one, and maybe get a couple of other parts as well.

Just as he stood up, however, his stomach let out a growl. Crap, he'd been so engrossed in working on his customised radio for the first time in a long time he forgot to eat. Maybe he'd go get something to eat before he went into town.

With that, Atsuro made sure to grab his bag before he headed out. But as he quickly rounded the corner to one of the Fiertia's halls, he didn't have time to see the guy he was about to walk into.

Adachi didn't have time to see Atsuro either and thus a collision was unavoidable. He stumbled back as contact was made, instinctively reaching for the wall with one hand to steady himself.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" he exclaimed, his true personality slipping through just somewhat in this caught off guard moment.

asdf;lkj Atsuro stumbled back a bit on impact, hand reflexively going to his hat. "Oh man, sorry about that!" he quickly apologised, bowing slightly.

Now that he wasn't rushing about, he got a better look at the guy he bumped into. He hadn't seen this guy around before... but then again, Atsuro spent a lot of his time in the radio room. Since he was out here already, maybe he should get to know some of the people around here.

"I don't think I've seen you on board before. I'm Atsuro, one of the radio ops," he said with a genial smile, shifting the bag on his shoulder.

Adachi sighed. Just a kid, nothing to lose your cool over calm down. He smiled back at Atsuro, warm and friendly.

"Well I just came on today. I'm Adachi, a new passenger," he replied.

It was common for those who were new to an area to go about and observe what was around them. William decided to take that route as well. He knew his former acquaintance, Grell Sutcliff, was on this ship, due to the fact he and his family had sent him here. Other than the name of the ship and it's captain, William had no other inklings of what the ship was really about, let alone it's people

Unlike with Pip, this time Adachi noticed William. To be quite honest, the guy freaked him out. That expressionless look was downright creepy.

He returned the head nod, despite his wish that William would just walk past and ignore him. But no he's been acknowledged, he's got to be polite and respond back. "H-Hey."

Oh he only wished that. Too bad he wasn't gonna get it. He tilted his head slightly and crossed his arms. "And who might you be? I'm William Spears, one of the Quartermaster's here. I'm relatively new here." he said as he lifted a hand to readjust his tie around his own neck, loosening it slightly.

Great. Conversation. Jooooy. Adachi prayed that it would at least be over quickly, but he had a very good feeling that it wouldn't.

"O-Oh. I'm new as well!" he began, "The name's Adachi, a passenger. Just boarded today, sir!"

Well, today was better than how things had been going! Gilbert's leg still hurt like a bitch, but hey, at least there wasn't anything more to make it... hurt more!

So, he was going to patrol the halls with his bird! Because he could!

Adachi was continuing on his way throughout the ship, minding his own business when he saw Gilbert.

...and could not stop staring.

...well. That...was different.

"Um..." he began, trying to grab the guy's attention, "You...You have a bird on your..."

"Huh?" said Gilbert, turning slightly to face the man. "What bird?"

"That one!" Adachi exclaimed, pointing at the one perched on Gilbert's head.

Yamamoto stuck his head out of his room cautiously, hoping that no medics were around to force him back to bed. It was only a little bump on the head! He had a natural hard head! Besides he'd never been good with enforced bed rest, even when he was a little kid.

Spotting no healers in the vicinity, he skipped happily out the door into the hallways, heading for above deck.

Adachi decided to make his way up to the deck as well both for exploration and also for a breath of fresh air. As he was heading his way up there he caught sight of yet another young man also seemingly heading for there. He didn't say anything though, trying to ignore that he'd seen the other guy at all. Although knowing his luck he probably wasn't going to be ignored right back.

Sorry, but Yamamoto is hardly the type to ignore people if he sees them. So you get a loud and friendly "Hello there!" from him, especially since that Adachi is a new face that Yamamoto doesn't recognize.
