I AM NOW IN EXACTLY HALF THE LOGS ON THE FIRST PAGE OF TST oh_sew_manly January 20 2011, 01:50:30 UTC
The Amestris was a pretty big ship, but that didn't mean getting off it wasn't a relief. Kanji wasn't really an art kind of guy, and even if the monster-paintings did sound kind of cool, he'd rather stretch his legs and walk around Garrettstown until he didn't feel quite so shut-in anymore.

He wasn't headed anywhere in particular, so Kanji just let his feet carry him around town. He'd been walking around for maybe twenty minutes when he found himself by a graveyard.

...and that was a familiar profile standing in the middle of the tombstones. I think I recognize that guy, Kanji realized. He was the one with the book...what's he doing here? He stood there and stared for a moment, not speaking up yet but too curious to walk away already.

IS THIS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF? I CANNOT TELL sunset_summers January 20 2011, 02:11:14 UTC
Roxas was oblivious to the fact that he was being watched, only focused on the grave in front of him. It was kind of dumb to be talking to something that couldn't talk back, but Roxas wouldn't deny that it made him feel better. And maybe his father's spirit was listening or something ( ... )

NO IDEA oh_sew_manly January 25 2011, 21:39:21 UTC
Shit, he'd been caught staring! Kanji felt a flush rise to his face immediately, embarrassed at being caught snooping on something so personal. "Sorry, I didn't mean to --" he began.

Well, that didn't sound suspicious at all.

"I-I wasn't listening or anything. Honest! I was just -- passing by, you know!"

...he had a feeling he wasn't helping his case.

Roxas is friends with all the punks sunset_summers January 26 2011, 03:37:29 UTC
In the past, Roxas might have freaked out over someone being there, but this wasn't the past anymore. No longer would he just slink away quietly at this subject. It was hard to accept, but his father was dead. It wasn't something he had to be ashamed of, nor was it something he was going to let cripple his life from now on. Roxas had already wasted far too much time doing that.

"It's okay," he said. "It's not something I need to hide or anything."
