Yeah, I'm stretching this out. At this rate, Fanwriter-tan really will make her goal of watching the finale with everyone else, and while that's good for her, it leaves me with little material to cover. XD I promise you, though, that the next installment will feature story content again!

So much mention of sky whales! What about the poor, unloved sky sharks?

Haha, that's from one of the DVD inserts, isn't it? Yes, there are a couple of sky shark and sky fish images in the artbook, too, but it certainly is covered in sky whales. Who knows why.

I heard they were tossing all kinds of weird shit around in the concept stages-- sky wolves, sky bears, sky... birds. They haven't published any of that art, though....

Yeah, I wish they'd come out with something that had all the weird discarded concept art in it. I keep hearing rumours that this or that one-episode or one-arc character was supposed to be more important, and an official statement would at least clear some of that up.
