Completely by coincidence, with the end of TST comes the ending of this round of Lovepaddled.
This summer is going to be all about fort expansion. And not dying. New workshops are being made, and I'm digging a new level to the fort to accomidate our population.
Here we have a training session gone kind of badly.
Okay, very badly.
A cave crocodile captured during the goblin siege was used and it proved to be a little too strong, tearing off a dwarf's arm and injuring Bang. Whoops. Also, for whatever reason, no dwarves are coming to help them.
Bang is rescued after a ridiculous amount of time, but not the other dwarf. The game doesn't seem to recognize her as injured. Even though she, you know. Doesn't have an arm anymore and can't walk. Finally, she is able to move, but I think her fighting days are over, so I take her off the squad.
Bang is moving around on a crutch, but I'm doubtful of her ability to recover enough to be a full fledged fighter. I may have to remove her as well.
...aw nuts. I think we're screwed for real this time. We're being invaded by goblins and trolls. All of them are riding animals, including giant bats. They all spread out, and I can't keep track of everything. An inexperienced freshly recruited military vs a complete army?
I kind of just watch as everybody gets murdered. Except a lot of the murdering stops as some of the goblins just skitter around in one place and nobody kills anybody else for a long time. I just gave up at that point. I am definitely taking Fort Defense 101 after this.
So much for not dying.
