Congrats to all of you who started college and are having a wonderful time. Tomrrow I have to go enroll in classes, which is basically a fight to the death with 1500 other students to get the courses and times that I want. here is my tentative schedule:

I bet it's part of that phys ed. type kinda requirement. There was fencing on rice's catalog and I'm totally doing that. Oh, and, General and Inorganic chem? Is that above genchem or did your 7 not go through?

IB score got me out of 207&208, the gen chem classes. i wanted to go to organic experimental chem, 357, but my advisor recommended i take honors gen chem, whose 1st semester is basically just 207&208 combined and then next semester we learn new stuff. and yes, swing dance is part of my PErequirement. we too have fencing classes. we also have various massage classes as PE credits, plus every other game/sport/thing you could ever imagine. scuba diving! belly dance!

totally! the line for tennis and football was looong, but hardly anyone wanted to sign up for swing dance or belly dance. the massage line was really long too though...
