I think the reason women are attracted to men who are like their dads is that we're so used to putting up with our fathers' lame humor, egotism, and table manners, that it's just easier than trying to adjust to another set of bad habits!
That said, I love my dad, and my sweetheart who reminds me so disturbingly of him.
