Logan almost drops his book on the word hump. It probably becomes quite clear that he wasn't actually reading when he fumbles the book around in his hands, practically throwing it at his own face. "Wh--wh-what?" he chuckles awkwardly, thumbing around the pages to try and find his spot, but his eyes flick up at James with a highly uncomfortable smile.

Kendall and Carlos aren't... they wouldn't be... would then? Logan supposes he and Carlos aren't really exclusive, he doesn't expect Carlos to be committed to him, but Kendall? Logan knew they were best friends, but he didn't know they were...

He continues to laugh airily and awkwardly, completely uncomfortable and, wow, can he dig his way out of this tent and not be around James anymore? His level of discomfort has just escalated through the thin fabric of this tent's roof. But his laughter sort of dies into a feeling like nausea and he squints at James with a feeling of anxiety. Oh. Apparently Logan doesn't know about Kendall and Carlos. James was sure that Carlos would have at least told Logan about how he and Kendall have been...together before. Well, this is...awkward. Carlos suddenly feels like he's intruding on something really personal. Like he and Kendall aren't supposed to be here with James and Logan. It makes Carlos fidget and tap his fingers against his knees. This isn't how it's supposed to be. Carlos isn't supposed to feel like James and Logan have this little inside joke that Kendall and Carlos aren't a part of or like they're having all these little intimate moments

Kendall watches out the corner of his eye as Carlos exits the tent, clearly upset, then Logan. No need to try and keep distracting James, since that apparently worked so well. All he did was keep talking about Logan.

"Why'd you act like such a cock just now?" Kendall asks accusingly. James has been pretty obedient to him up to this point, so why the sudden acting out?

And, okay, James can see where Kendall's anger is coming from. Besides the fact that Kendall clearly has some sort of anger problem, James was being kind of a dick. Not only was he kind of dangling Logan in front of Carlos' face, he was making Logan feel uncomfortable and pissing Kendall off in the process. James really did pull a big jerk move that way.

The thing is: James doesn't really know why he was acting like that. He liked kissing Logan and he didn't like that Carlos and Kendall were displeased with them kissing when they were just fucking. "I dunno. He's just cute. Logan's not as bad as you think he is," James defends. "Plus, Carlos is kind of good and cute and sweet, too, and you like him." James decides he's going to turn this back around on Kendall and asks, "What's your beef with him? Is it because he likes Carlos?"
