Great fanfiction, BAD reality.

OH MY GOD, that's something else I was thinking about. I'm so fucking annoyed by these people that are all fanatically against a band JUST because they're major, and happen to get TIRED. Yes, indies band push themselves hard, but they don't have to deal with the cooperation pressure, management pressure, running around like chicken with their heads cut off to shoots/PVs/magazines/other promotional crap, ect. Getting ran around like that will make ANYONE tired as hell. That was so.. random of me. Sorry. lol

lol Fangirling can be fun as hell, but a good rant here and there really works out the kinks.

THANK YOU. I agree with you on so many points, it's not even funny. A fan should be allowed to criticize an artist's work (what can be improved upon, etc.), but SO many fans take that overboard. (And, of course, there's the other side of the coin: a fan thinking that their favorite artist is absolutely PERFECT.) An artist is human. They're allowed to have flaws, and a fan should be willing to discuss said flaws in the hopes that the artist would take notice and improve themselves. But that does NOT give a fan the right to turn a discussion like that into an all-out bitch fest

That's why I never thought of myself as fangirl, only because I don't want to be associated with those types of crazy schoolgirls who stalk their idols, cut wrtists, when their favorite idol gets married, etc. It is crazy.

THANK YOU, my wonderful Kate-ness, for telling it like it is *sighs contentedly* It's about damn time someone ranted about it. I've ranted about people bitching about RPs/fanfics not long ago, cause like it's been discussed here, it's good to see our favorite bands as HUMAN once in awhile. Just BECAUSE they're human shouldn't put them out of bounds for fiction.

Anyway, but I have been getting FULLY annoyed at fangirls ranting about these things lately as well. I'm sure you'll share with me later what exactly was said where so I can have my little rant moment over it, too, but for now, I'll just let it suffice to say that this rant properly covers ALL stupid fangirls that froth over ANY band that changes their appearance/music/mood/LIFE... *bows* Once again... You know me, I just have to rant and explode when I reach the peak of annoyance with people. I've kept my mouth shut about this topic for quite awhile, but I wasn't about to CONTINUE doing it. -Snort.- And the whole fanfiction is another rant I have stored up for a later date, since it's something people seem to CONSTANTLY FUCKING BITCH about as well. HELLO? MOVIES based on REAL people NOT using full fact? And PEOPLE PAY TO SEE THAT. Not to mention shit like, oh, mass produced doujinshi IN Japan that the celebs know about, and in some cases read/giggle over. -Grumbles.- Shall stop there.

Oh you know I'll be telling you, and in great detail too. We shall have our own personal rant-fest about it, and then sit back and smoke a cig at how GOOD it was. Or something close to that. ♥ Sadly though, I'm not just talking about fangirls at this point.
