So in some internet surfing to delay homework I decided to google "banned blockbuster titles" and came up with this site. They have a banner that I simply couldn't resist putting on here.

I'm pretty sure xmas was the first time he did that...I thought it had just been a careless mistake b/c he was used to writing "Jack and Teri" on presents or something. But on your bday card too? Strange, strange man. Maybe he's just severely absentminded. Or maybe he's got some dumb idea that it makes him 'cool' to sign that way. It would be really, really weird to start calling him Jack.

The banner made me laugh. But then, you know my family's thoughts about Blockbuster. We miss Carbonated. I mean, I'd go there without money, promise to pay for the video, keep it out for months, wait for fine forgiveness week, and be fine. OK, maybe it makes sense that they went out of business.

Yeah they were so nice. Didn't they let your mom rent "Strictly Ballroom" or something for free because the clerk liked it a lot and really wanted her to see it? I remember Video Plaza too. They had that 5 for $5.99 thing, that was cool, but they were gone before Carbonated folded. Both died after the Blockbuster on Maynard and High House opened.

I cant see the banner. Blockbuster is uncool but at least they are paying you and not the other way around. I should get a job. I've got an inteview next week. Walmart is like the mall for Boone.

Gross, Walmart. I can't believe a college town would lack a mall. Anyway if the banner is not working, the website it came from is http://bbv0.tripod.com/bbbv.html (slogan: "Does killing independent business and censoring your movies sound alright? Then make it a Blockbuster night!") I forgot how to write the code for links, so you'll just have to do the cut and paste.
