Ohayo gozaimasu. Anata wa kirei desu. O-ha-yo go-za-i-ma-su. A-na-ta wa ki-re-i de-su. That one is, "Good morning. You are pretty." I don't know quite how to say, "look very beautiful."
Genki desu ka Ge-n-ki de-su ka How are you?
Any word that ends in "su" just pronounce as "sss."
If you have time, you should try out a nearby library and see if they have any Learning Japanese books and audio tapes. "Japanese for Busy People" is an adequate book, and it gets you to memorize basic phrases.
"Good day, I can't help noticing that your breath has the distinct aroma of goat's cheese. Could I enquire perchance from whence you obtained such a fine cheese-making goat?"
It's one I really need to express to a colleague of mine. Thanks :P
