Holy crap I got a grant. My first that I've applied for and I effin got it. In a wee bit of shock and SO excited about it. It was a very small one from the Ontario Arts Council, through a theater I do a lot of work at, Buddies in Bad Times. It is a development grant that is strictly to pay myself to develop something. I don't have to present

I'll write another grant just to learn Fatty Mcdance and Beyonce. I'm sure they'll give me money for that!

I don't know, has there ever been any queer fatties doing modern dance there? Maybe the markets already flooded? Yeeeeaaaahhhh right.

well, i know for sure that there will be a market for your piece(s) in my apartment for the canadian-themed party we'll be having in your collective honor.

perhaps you can kick off the dance party portion of the evening when we move the music from KD Lang, Brian Adams and Alanis Morisette to dance music. i'm sure there will be tipping (and foldable tipping at that!)--enough at least to get you brunch the next day!
