Last Trip to the Family's Trailer

Well, I went up to my family's trailer on friday, as I do most long weekends and a few other weekends to relax and release some stress. *hugs* It is always a shock when something sudden happens, even if you have grown to accept that it will. You have many memories of it, so it is hard to let it go. We had to do the same thing with my grandparents cottage. Each summer, the day that school let out we would be picked up with a fully packed car and head out to the cottage to live for the entire summer. Finally, just before high school ended, my grandparents decided to sell it. I was bummed at first too, but I realized that the memories will be there forever, and I am also looking forward to the day when I have a cottage of my own, to create even more memories.

I'd say the memories are the best thing you have to keep. Forgetting about the world in the wilderness where you have another home, that is priceless. I'm sure it's sad to see it go, but I figure you'll find other places of tranquility within a forest with a tent and sleeping bag. *hugs*

It's quite unfortunate that it sold already.... and you never did get to take me out there. Perhaps one day you'll be able to have your own little retreat....
