Sibelius, the dear notation program that I love and spend many hours of the day writing arrangements and orchestrations, released a new version last week, Sibelius 7. It may be the first time I won't rush for an upgrade.

Hi! It's true that such advanced soft can be so annoying at the certain point like audio export. I cant create aiff file which is complete according to the score. I have missing voices, interruptions, silence. Tried to extend cpu core usage, switch off reverb, delay, tried to record using 16,24,32 bit options. Doesn't work at all! Do you think my Macbook Pro 2011 is "too slow" or it's question of setup or it's simply crap software? Sibelius Forum is full of questions and no answers. To get help from Avid you must buy asc code. Single case - 26 euro or smth like this.. I am very dissappointed..

Lukas, I'm not a tech guy so I can't really answer you - but my 2010 (or is it 2009? I forget) MacBook runs Sibelius 7 fine, and I'm able to export audio. Sounds like you're having a ram or memory issue..not sure which - can't help! email daniel@sibelius.com
