A Day In The Life.....
It's been a rough day or so...
For a good chunk of this year Maggie has been having diarrhea issues.
Every month or two she will have a bout of diarrhea, not eat for a couple of days, and then things will be back to normal.
I took her to the vet a while back when she also threw up with it. They didn't think it was anything really because she acted quite happy and such, and not tenderness or fever. Okay I can live with that.
And then it kept happening every month or two. :(
She has also had a bit of a cough, but didn't seem anything really.
Well, yesterday she started having diarrhea again, and I didn't get much sleep and for the last few days her cough has gotten worse.
And she was acting pretty blah. I had to really force her to go out at supper time and she didn't even leave the yard.
So I called the vet to see if I could bring her in.
They told me to call back at 7:30 am for a same day appointment today. Okay...
So I was worried enough about her, and TIRED, that I called off work last night.
She was finally able to rest and sleep and so did I.
This morning I called at 7:30 and was told they didn't have any appointment until Friday morning.
Why the bloody hell could she not tell me that last night? ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have an appointment for 9 am Friday morning.
This morning I went to take her out and she seems a little more perky and we went for a full walk through the cemetery.
No pooping, but she hasn't eaten for awhile, she never does when she has her diarrhea episodes.
And just to add insult to injury, when I went to grab my jacket, I looked out the window and it was snowing outside. :o :o :o It's the pebbly kind of snow, but it's snow.
