I'm sorry to hear about the death of your father Rufus. I know Rude and I will understand if this keeps you from attending our wedding, which you are of course invited to.
It's so terrible to hear about the war. As if this city hasn't been through enough. And the taxes.. it just seems like too much at once.
I'm glad the children were rescued. There were several brave people who helped out I'm sure.
I need to start doing my part to help out. I don't want to go behind Rude's back, but I want to help those poor children. Perhaps Avalanche can work something out.
