Got the iPhone, love it, even though it's 1st Gen. I thought the initial price was expensive and the monthly bill is higher than what I had before. Now I can't imagine being without it. I can't tell you how many times I've used it as a baseline GPS unit, search for a business' phone number, get directions from here to there, or find a local gas station. I've taken numerous photos with it (altho it only works well in well lit places.) I use it for commercial free radio (Pandora) while at work too.
I keep almost ending up with an iPhone. I am always happy to decide against it each time. Maybe someday, but it's still missing a couple features that are important to me.
That said, I'm sick of my Windows Mobile phone. I'll probably stick with Sprint, but get a Palm Pre or whatever Android phone they eventually release.
iphone - but i was under the impression that portability means you got to keep your area code. but then when i swapped i remained in the same area code so i guess it just didn't come up?
anyway - iphone - it's both a godsend and a timesuck, be warned ;)
Do we really think this summer's version of the iPhone will be more than an incremental upgrade? I tend not to change/get new phones often - every phone I've had has lasted me at least two years. So whatever I get, I'm effin' stuck with.
that's really weird... I haven't had my music stutter while reading email... I wanna see if I can make it... were these graphically rich emails? big attachments?
