Got the iPhone, love it, even though it's 1st Gen. I thought the initial price was expensive and the monthly bill is higher than what I had before. Now I can't imagine being without it.
I can't tell you how many times I've used it as a baseline GPS unit, search for a business' phone number, get directions from here to there, or find a local gas station.
I've taken numerous photos with it (altho it only works well in well lit places.) I use it for commercial free radio (Pandora) while at work too.

I keep almost ending up with an iPhone. I am always happy to decide against it each time. Maybe someday, but it's still missing a couple features that are important to me.

That said, I'm sick of my Windows Mobile phone. I'll probably stick with Sprint, but get a Palm Pre or whatever Android phone they eventually release.

Tethering, mostly. I don't need/use it FREQUENTLY but it's a lifesaver.

iphone - but i was under the impression that portability means you got to keep your area code. but then when i swapped i remained in the same area code so i guess it just didn't come up?

anyway - iphone - it's both a godsend and a timesuck, be warned ;)

Blackberry's hell with small exchange servers, which is what my office uses...

ah, we use the blackberry exchange server, so it automatically pushes our mail from Exchange to our phones.

Do we really think this summer's version of the iPhone will be more than an incremental upgrade? I tend not to change/get new phones often - every phone I've had has lasted me at least two years. So whatever I get, I'm effin' stuck with.

that's really weird... I haven't had my music stutter while reading email... I wanna see if I can make it... were these graphically rich emails? big attachments?
