[ This whole situation has just been chaos and confusion and danger and nothing she wanted to have to see her daughter deal with right now. They'd just been reunited, this was too much. She'd found her way to the new Roadhouse, had been trying to help out however she could, but she hadn't yet found her daughter.
So, naturally, seeing Jo across a room full of people who were not in a stable state, any of them, with Dean Winchester...
And there aren't any lip-to-lip contact moments happening, but a mother can sense when things are strange. And Ellen's first instinct is to go and make sure her daughter is alright. But it looks like someone else already has that covered. So she's just going to shove her way through people as not-meanly as she can and --
what the fuck.
What the fucking..
fucking fuckity --
DEAN WINCHESTER'S LIPS ARE ON HER DAUGHTER
ON HER DAUGHTER
HER DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!
Ellen now charges like a bull through all the things and is headed right for Dean. Who is going to die. ]
[Her smile and the relief of the moment makes a little one creep up his cheeks, but he tries to keep from looking smug, lest Ellen whack him with a spoon]
oh cool i didn't see the notif for this sorry guys !caresforNovember 25 2011, 07:45:25 UTC
[ SIGH, sigh. This is -- not the best time. There's chaos around them, they're a mess... Everyone's a mess. ]
Guess we'll just hafta talk about this later, Jo. You and me. [ She looks around. ] Ain't too thrilled to find out in the middle of this mess, but... Well, damn, been through worse, haven't we? [ She'll FORCE a smile now. I hope you're happy, Jo. She is still full of skepticism and worry and mama bear rage. ]
[She nods, knowing damn well that her mother is forcing the smile, but is very grateful for her actually trying. But she's right, this isn't the right time to be screaming at one another, and it's not too hard to see that people are staring and wondering what in the hell is going on.
Her grip on Dean tightens as she silently celebrates this small victory, even though she knows she's sure as hell gonna get it later.]
Once this is all said and done, we'll sit down and talk about it, just the two of us.
[And then Jo Harvelle does the cowardly thing and pulls away from Dean to turn tail and run. Not because she's afraid, but because she can't stand to see that fake smile on her mom's face, put there by her. She hurries up the stairs and goes to find a room that's got no one in it, so she can sort out her thoughts.]
[Yeah, Dean's not sticking around there for long. He forces a smile in Ellen's direction, though it's a little nervous, and then makes his way into the midst of the crowd so he can go grab a beer. A nice, cold beer. :|
Later, he'll go track down Jo and rap on the door when he cracks it open] Anybody home?
[She's okay now, but it's clear that she's been brooding and crying while she's been in the room alone. She's standing in the corner of the room and spins around when Dean enters. She doesn't bother giving him a smile.]
I can't believe that actually just happened. She didn't hit you or anything, did she?
