I was visiting the jail when my first case arrived--and I somehow managed to win. I guess I still have it in me.

Murder, Shiela Rote.

The famous murder mystery authoress was founded murdered by her own silverware--in the same fashion as one of her murder stories. I defended Mary Agatha, her famous rival. That... uh... witness... Dee Djano... seemed certain she had seen the defendant commit the crime. A little overenthusiastic, but I managed to point the flaws in her testimony. Fortunately, I was somehow able to unmask the real culprit, the disappointed longtime reader, Bid Fenboy, who had poisoned Shiela Rote through her tomato juice.

Mary Agatha seemed thankful. Hopefully she'll be able to break out of her shell--she told me she felt inspired to write a story. The Disoriented Espresso, huh? I'll have to check it out.

... I also found hamburger receipts in my pocket. I... I didn't really go to Burger and Buns that many times, did I?

And, uh, Medusa, I'd... I'd like to ask you about something. If you wouldn't mind.

Trucy, I'd like to see you, as well.

[Private]

Godot's apparently a prosecutor with quite a reputation. Does he hate me because I'm a defense attorney? I don't think he's that shallow a man. But then again, who can tell his true motives underneath his mask...? Maybe Maya will hold the answer to that. I have to find more about that man.

Maya's been helpful. And if she was my manager, maybe I can enlist her help again. I only won this case by a thread. And I need to cut back on my burgers, apparently--with the rate I went through them, no wonder I became a... hobo.

...

This strange pendant in my pocket... it felt warm when I first saw that "lock." And only I saw it. It appeared when Trucy was... lying? No, she was hiding the truth. When I asked the right questions, it broke. But I have an uneasy feeling that I shouldn't press too hard when I don't have the evidence to break the "locks." What... is this? And why do I have it? I guess my theory of magician blood is thrown out, since Trucy isn't my blood daughter.

One more matter to note. I had searched the jails for her father--but no luck. I'll check to see if there are any circuses in the meantime. Maybe I'll bring Maya--but I don't want Trucy to know.

I'm... I'm unhappy that Trucy lied to me. But even my own defendents lie to me. I guess this time, it's different.

I wonder why.

((Mods, +$240 to Phoenix. $250 for the case - $10 for a gift to Trucy.

Citizens of Memento Eden, it's fun time! Phoenix Wright possesses a Magatama, which basically allows him (and only him) to see locks when they hide the truth. He won't necessarily break all of them, but if you want to show Phoenix that your character has a Psyche-Lock, just show this in your comment. To show he has found out the truth, show this. You can even customize and change the color of the locks and the number of them according to your character, in an OOC note. Feel free to leave questions below, or here..))
