I walked the shore in the moonlight and let the waves wash over my ankles, and the silver of the reflected light on the ever-cresting waves looked like a path to the stars.  I wanted to follow it, even if it meant drowning in the black and silver water or the black and diamond sky ( Read more... )

LOL! M'dear, you must read some of my good friend G. K. Chesterton. He said that philosophers were much more likely to go mad than poets because the poet only wants to have his head in the heavens; the philosopher wants to get the heavens into his his head.

I know, I had the same reaction here. I remember looking up "thestorygirl" when I got my username several years ago, but I didn't dream our paths would actually cross eventually. We are probably the only people on LJ it wouldn't mix up! :P
