I received an email today from the studio in NC from the producer saying she was sorry she couldn't speak with me yesterday. She was busy creating schedules and researching projects and that if something came up she'd contact me.

I learned over the years that is a nice way of saying "piss off".

Duly noted.

Yesterday, I sent out two emails to the two studios that were overwhelmingly interested to have me work on their new feature length films. Mid-December both studios asked me to contact them after the first week of the new year. One of them was so bold to request that I keep my calendar open for mid-January. Seems like my relatives fancy dying around this time of the year and this year's been no different. I've lost my grandmother, aunt, two uncles in the month of December. I LOVED GOF! OMG, it's the BEST yet. The humor was great, having a Brit direct it certainly gives a better feel for the book translation to film and it made you feel like you were a Brit...not sure if that makes sense. Well a few months ago my cat, got real sick and had an operation. He had an impacted hair mass and it was stuck in his sphincter of his stomach/small intestine. It was so big that it was starting to penetrate the stomach lining. It was pretty bad ( Read more... )

Well I just went through a living hell this weekend. I had to baby sit my 5 year old nephew and 15 year old niece. My niece was great. My nephew was the worst torture I've endured in my life. My 18 year-old tuxedo cat, gave me a real scare last weekend when I found him limp and in pain under the azaleas. He's lost so much weight he's emaciated and I'm worried he won't last very much longer. After observing him for a while, Mom and I believe he had a stroke.
