So, two things:

Thing the first; all my books have arrived! Saturday through to early morning Tuesday were kind of iffy but this has redeemed it. I've already started in on Black Heart; I can tell it's already going to be a good as the first two in the trilogy. I am so excited ( Read more... )

Excuse this journal, which really needs to be developed into something useful. I can't believe you had an armed robbery so nearby. Actually I can, but it is still an awful shock. It is times like this when the idea of downsizing to a little apartment in a block of flats doesn't sound like such a bad idea.

Now on to the gifs. If you have Photoshop, under 'file' there should be an option called 'save for web and screen devices' which will allow you to save a file in that format. I guess it depends on which version of Photoshop you have. What do you need the gif for?

It's times like these that I'm really grateful for our electric fence. Our area - it's meant to be safe, you know. And it is, for the most part, but then things like this happen and you're reminded just how ...unsafe it can be.

One of those secure neighbourhoods would be lovely.

I have the software, I figured it's about time to start tinkering. I have Photoshop CS5, is that fairly recent?

Also, added this journal if that's okay. I absolutely love your icons, by the way!

As long as you're OK and you stay that way. I must check your journal more often.

Photoshop CS 5 is very recent. I'm still working on CS 4 but that is sufficient for digital art, heck, even CS 2 is sufficient for digital art.

Aw thanks, I will add yours back. Feel free to remove my older journal. The icons I have here were made for DA but I figured I should put them to good use. Many are based on a fantasy photo shoot Saoirse did (yes, her again).

The program I used for the animation is Graphics Gale. It is great for pixel art.

Oh, we're all fine - well, as fine as we ever are.

Excellent.

I might just do that. Would it be worth it to track down the pictures from her fantasy photo shoot? I've recently started to dip my toes into Tumblr, so I'm sure I could probably track them down there if necessary.

How goes, by the way? Work still eating up most of your time?
