I haven't shared in a little while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been knitting!
I will start with what I feel is perhaps my crowning achievement to date. I present the Mr. & Ms. Pacman scarf!
A birthday gift for my handsome boyfriend who loves Pacman.
I used the charts from this pattern:
http://geeknits.blogspot.com/2007/07/publish-or-perish.html but as you can see I designed the scarf much differently from the original. This scarf tells the love story of Mr. & Ms. Pacman. :)
Yarn is Cascade Superwash 220.
Knitted in the round using Fair Isle method, as suggested by the designer. You can't really tell from the pictures, but I doubled the charts so that the scarf has the images on both sides.
The second item I am most proud of recently was a birthday gift for my best friend Mary.
Pattern is Abby from Knitty.

Yarn is Colinette Parisienne in "Autumn Afternoon." It's something like 90% mohair and 10% nylon. This by far the softest and most beautiful yarn I have knit with.
Abby on Abby. (My cat's name is Abby.) ;)
I knitted a lot of little odds and ends in between as well.
These cozies are based on the Ipod Jumper pattern, but heavily modified for worsted weight yarn & US 7 needles.

This one I made for my new headphones that go with my mp3 phone to keep them from getting tangled up in my purse.
This one I sized to fit my friend Andrea's ipod as a late birthday present.
And then I made a really tiny one upon request for my coworker's bluetooth ear piece!
Then I got this crazy idea in my head that the kitties needed to have a blanket for their bed, so I knitted a cat blanket. This was a good way to use up yarn, but took longer than I would have liked for what it was. Oh well they sure do like it!
This last one's not all that impressive, but I'm sharing because someone else in this community brought the Knit-A-Square charity to my attention and so I made this square and told my knitting lunch coworkers about it. We sent in 4 squares all together so far.
The colored bits were the last of some Noro Silk Garden Lite I had left over.
Thanks for letting me share! I am loving learning to knit!! Project details can be found on Ravelry - I'm "shawnooke". Feel free to add me, I only have 1 friend so far! :)
