It just occurred to me that I have knit a LOT of projects that I have yet to share with all of you! I'll keep the comments brief, and won't waste space with ravelry links. You can search me on there as "shawnooke". I like to call this one the "Peacock Sharf"

This was my first shawl of any kind, ableit a small one. I asked for some help from this community while working on it and you all were so great. Thanks again! I love this little "sharf" and the yarn and it looks oh so pretty with a pin or tied as a bandana. Yarn: Crystal Palace Yarns Mochi Plus - Color 560 "Jungle" Pattern: 198 yds. of Heaven (Ravelyr download) Then I made a pair of matching fingerless gloves with the leftovers from the shawl - my "Matching Mochis"
These ones I also came to the community asking for help, only to find out that the error had been fixed on the website but wasn't showing up on my computer. Very confusing, but it worked out in the end and the designer asked to use my project as the featured photos on the pattern page so that is awesome. Yarn: Crystal Palace Yarns Mochi Plus - Color 560 "Jungle" Pattern: Mochi Plus Wave Fingerless Gloves http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns2/accessories/MochiPlus-Fingerless.html Now on to Christmas/Hannukah presents for my BF's brother, sister-in-law and nephew! This is truly my pride and joy, the Dinosaur Hoodie!
I really don't feel like the photos do this one justice. You can't tell how adorably small it is, for one thing, or feel the lovely squishiness of the yarn. This was my first sweater ever! I am really quite proud of myself for this one. My BF's nephew is going to be SO FREAKING CUTE in it. Too bad they live in a faraway state and I won't get to witness the cuteness in person. Yarn: Dream in Color Classy (superwash) in Happy Forest. Orange and yellow are Cascade 220 Superwash. Pattern: Steggie from Knitty http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring09/PATTsteggie.php Calorimetry - My first!

This was just as fun, quick and easy to knit as it's cracked up to be. This is for my BF's sister-in-law. Yarn: Crystal Palace Yarns Mochi Plus - 558 "Neptune Rainbow" (Can you tell I like this yarn?) Pattern: Calorimetry from Knitty http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter06/PATTcalorimetry.html And lastly a "Bomber Hat" for BF's brother.
This hat has a rather dramatic story behind it, which I encourage you to read over on ravelry. Suffice to say that almost everything that could go wrong in making a hat did, but I triumphed in the end. I modified the pattern to do the earflaps in double-knitting and the front flap is double-knit as well, mostly for looks but also for some added warmth as well. Ever since I started working on this I see bomber-style hats in every store I go in. Very hip this year, I guess. Yarn: Berrocco Ultra Alpaca - both colors Pattern: Give Peace a Chance Bomber Hat http://juliseyes.blogspot.com/2007/02/give-peace-chance-bomber-hat-free.html
