EDIT: I was also surprised on Haight by my long-time homegirl, all-time favorite, Niki Horton. We smoked hookah at Kan Zaman 'til the wee hours. Took us forever to get a table (and our hookahs), but when we did, the dancing was exotic and the laughs were plentiful. Bellydancers and crazy old people entertained us as the clock struck midnight and I celebrated two decades of kickin' ass. As the hookah bar closed, we headed back to Marin for a little late-night munchfest at Denny's, running into WAY too many people from TL. After an hour of dirty jokes and public humiliation, Nikjaw and Co. took me back to my car and then chased me home, blinking the tempo of "Push it (real good)" with her brights. Then I slept soundly, with pleasant dreams of the night's events.
