[This is a bit of a different action entry. This is for the people here, as well as anyone else interested that didn't post in the linked thread.

Basically, Angelus is on the loose, and he's pretty fast, so location doesn't much matter.

If you want your character attacked, reply in action format with their location and what they're generally ( Read more... )

[So Angelus is in the forest after he made his escape from the angry Slayer. Less an 'escape' and more a 'sparing her life', of course. And he's got plans, big plans. Alright, more along the lines of a list of names with a bright red mental target, but as freakishly unstable as Angelus is, that counts as 'planning'.

But wait, what's this?

A detour might just waste time, but on the other hand, the Slayer would pitch a fit if he leaves her a trail of bodies...

So he's off to wherever this human scent is. It leads him to a man building some kind of... something. Booby traps, it seems like. Angelus hangs back far enough (and is mostly behind a tree) that the man probably can't spot him as he assesses the situation.]

[ooc: He didn't attack this time 'cause I had a question. What kind of traps is Ninja-tastic setting, just so I know what could give him trouble? :D]

[Okay, so by the looks of it, it's like a giant rope wall thing, just to block enemies if they come after you. Angelus doesn't see much problem in that. But you pulled that knife out of nowhere (figuratively), so who knows what other weapons you've got hidden...

Okay, now he's bored with observation, so he shifts out of his vampire face, stepping out now, casually strolling toward the rope wall.]

Fancy wall you've got here.

[Still mostly avoiding people until the ridiculous "experiment" was over, Seifer was out in the woods again heading towards the barrier. Maybe this time he'd find a way through. Doubtful, but that didn't stop him from trying.]

[[OOC: I'm pretty easy-going with the beating up of my characters, so neckbitey is fine, just don't kill him. =D]]

[After his dealings with the ninja, which are not even close to complete yet so I'm not gonna assume anything, he's back to wandering the forest, scheming, but also keeping an eye out for the Slayer. He had a good seven hours before sunrise, anyway...

But then he smells her. Another human, wandering the woods? Angelus senses idiocy here, whether it was the fault of the Slayer for not warning them strongly enough, or the humans for avoiding it.

So he's locating the source of the scent, and when he finds her, he's stepping out of the shadows nearby. He shifted back to his human face before he revealed himself, since it's always so delicious to see their reaction to his other.]

Lost?

[Though he isn't making any kind of point to sound dark or sinister, he also didn't make an effort to insert Angel's 'gypsies took my manhood so now I help little old ladies cross the street' helpful tone. Feel free to be suspicious ( ... )

[Maybe a little idiotic, and far too overconfident. Seifer tended to forget that Xu was unable to use his gunblade, and he didn't actually know how she fought. That and he wasn't expecting vampire ambush.

At the voice 'she' whirled around to glare at the stranger suspiciously. Always suspicious, didn't matter how creepy one may or may not have been acting.]

No.

...You?

[OOC: Don't worry about it! Seifer's a jerk too, I'm used to characters thinking rotten things. ;D Don't mind him he's a grump and suspicious of everyone!]

It might not be so smart, for a woman to wander in the forest alone. [In that same neutrally creepy voice.]

[Ever since seeing the Squallemecia, Rin's been over by the edge of the forest near the river. She's been switching around a lot from practicing her aim on a tree, and sitting by the riverbed to think. Of course, right now, she's only thinking, making it awfully easy for someone to sneak up on her.]

[So he's not quite as hungry, after dealing with the other two... But that just means he's bored, and the Slayer isn't entertaining him nearly enough. So have "Angel" coming to stand beside you, looking at the water. He's not got his gameface on right now, but playing it safe is just as boring as not playing at all, so he's not making any effort to hide that he has no reflection.]

[Well, she's not going to actually notice him until she decides to get up and go back to practicing, which will be interrupted as she turns around to see the vampires standing there. Of course, since she wasn't expecting him to be there, she can't help but jump at the sight of him standing beside her.]

...Geez, you scared me. [She's going to take a deep breath to calm her heartbeat down from the surprise, but it's certainly not slowing down as much as she'd like it to.]

[That heartbeat thing you've got there? Making him hungry again. And odds are, it won't slow down. People just tend to be edgy around the criminally insane.]

You scare easily. [It's a statement, not an insult, and he's doing a pretty good job of hiding how much it amuses him. If that scared her...]

[Oh hey, Dru recognizes that vampire over there, and it's making her put on this huge creepy grin. Oh yes, she knows that's not Angel. He's got way too much of an evil presence to be Angel. No, that's her true sire, Angelus.]

Free at last I see~

[He steps toward her, a slight smirk on his face, taking her outstretched hand and lifting it to turn her in a loop, ballroom dance style.]

And Spike's not here to rain on things, this time.

[She giggles as she turns around.]

Exactly~ Are we going to have some fun, daddy?

Of course we are.

[He's turning to gaze farther back into the woods.]

Soon enough, the Slayer will find the nice little trail I've left her, and we might have a chase on our hands.

[Smell the blood, Dru, you'll know what kind of trail he left. And notice also how unthreatened he sounds by the 'chase' idea. It's all a game to him, you remember?]

[I do so love tormenting my characters, so have fun, just don't kill him of course. Not going to be easy to sneak up on him, he'll detect the evil intentions very fast, so Angel will see the guy in the icon, as a woman who is definitely expecting a fight on her hands. Yes, I went there.]

[And he knows you're waiting for him, so he's not even gonna beat around the bush. Have him strolling right up in game-face.]

Something against a long, healthy life?

Why run when it is better to kill those who wish me harm?

[She gets some distance from him, by jumping backwards, and she can jump higher than a normal person can, as if she is able to fly, in fact she can. A slicing wind comes at him soon after, which will definitely sting if he gets hit.]

[A challenge. He likes that.

So he's walking confidently toward you, not in any rush, but also clearly not deterred. And he can take a two-by-four through the gut and still fight, you think a little wind is gonna slow him down?]

I like the way you think.

[A few more steps, and then:] But there's one little problem. [And he's pulling out the knife he took from the earlier ninja and throwing it at her. He's pretty accurate, though I wouldn't be surprised if it missed, it was more of a warning than an actual assault.]

I'm already dead.
