Fred, Not sure where Wesley's hiding you, but make sure he brings you by later. We need to talk. And, uh... Sorry I wasn't there when you called. If I'd have known, I'd have been there...Wesley

[She sees her name almost instantly, but it'll take her awhile to respond. She's just... surprised. And... touched that he obviously was concerned. Even though it was unnecessary.]
I'm fine Angel-san. I didn't encounter her, and I ended up going home soon after I saw you.
[You'll find him on his couch, having just sent out that message. Though it was a 'line of duty', he seems just the teensiest bit triumphant, if you look hard enough.]
You used that icon!slayingJuly 27 2009, 18:32:54 UTC
[With an expression somewhere between seriousness and a pout.]
It is what I want to call it an it's what it'll stay called. It's not fair if you go and use your muscles to ruin my perfectly sensible ploy to get you in bed. [cough!] I mean... your bed. You should be sleeping in it. Not me.
[And since mun realized there's the whole sunshine issue, assume that sometime in the night he set up a sort of 'safe area' of shade out of something like tarp. It's about 15 feet by 15 feet. Angel's standing in it, an assortment of weapons on a small table behind her.]
'Morning.
[He's gonna jump right into teaching in a second, but a greeting wouldn't hurt.]
[He's picking up a couple of things off the table, then stepping over to her. You'll hear a slight sizzle, but he's talking before you call him on it.]
First things first. If you're being threatened by a vampire, there are a couple of things to always have on your person. [He hands her a wooden cross and a bottle of what looked like water. The sizzle had been coming from the hand wrapped around the cross, which he's now flexing kinda, the palm raw.] The bottle's holy water. Blessed by a priest or, in our case here, an angel. Splash it in the eyes, it burns any vampire on contact. ...So does the cross. If you hold it out in front of you, the vampire will most likely hang back.
I've got Fred, so to speak. I haven't narrowed down the "when" but it's probably shortly after her parents visited, in . . . was it '01? I don't know if I can I'll probably bring her by and settle her into the room one from the end, unless she objects. I'm 95% sure I'll take the other one.
That's... a long time ago. [If this were out loud, he'd sound a bit surprised by the time frame, like it's not what he was expecting at all. Alas, writing isn't so easy to analyze.]
