Doesn't surprise me, either. Last year when I got pulled off the top of an ambulance by the swat guys (not my finest moment), they were extremely violent and rude. I ended up with a concussion because one of the cops hit me in the head with his club.

They're just like the people they're trying to "subdue"... they get way too into that Big Tough Enforcer state of mind and lose all sense of humanity. I understand that they have a tough job to do, and they're dealing with drunken psycho-fans, but still...

So, Kenmore Sq. was understandably a fucking circus, but it was well worth the trip. I absolutely freaked out when I got back to NH, though, when I heard that a female Emerson student had died. Eeek, I say.
