Do let us know your experiences with the process and healing; I'm very interested. I'm somewhere around a -3.5/-3.75 and I have terrible astigmatism.

I was kind of curious about it, but I read and heard that eye dryness almost always increases, and I already have such troubles keeping my eyes hydrated I didn't want to make it any worse.

Good luck to you, but I love the big chunky black glasses...I even got myself a pair!

I'll almost certainly still need glasses for reading and working by the computer, so I can have big chunky black glasses after the procedure as well. I hope dry eyes won't be a problem for me. Bangkok will be around 40 centigrade when I land there, so I expect that could dry my eyes out a tad - we still have snow here, so will be a tad of a change.
